Relocating to the Portland Metro-Area? As your agent, I work hard to give you everything you need for a successful, non-stressful relocation and real estate transaction.
Visitors and new residents often make use of Wilsonville’s popular driving tours, which are designed to give a beautiful overview of the region. The Sherwood Loop Tour, for example, winds through North Willamette Valley, providing views of Mount Hood, the Caprice Farm Nursery, historic Sherwood, and plenty of local farmland. Other day trip options include Champed State Park, whose ten miles of hiking and biking trails are easily accessible from the town of Wilsonville.
Many people who choose Wilsonville OR Homes for Sale, however, do so because of excellent job opportunities. This includes easy access to Portland’s downtown, as well as employment with companies such as Mentor Graphics, Nike, and Xerox, all of which have facilities in Wilsonville. Excellent job opportunities draw residents to the area and then keep them there.
I’m happy to provide you with a few of the tools you need to prepare in the documents below.
Once you’ve armed yourself with a little bit of knowledge and are ready to act, get me on your side for a smoother, faster, less stressful transaction.
I look forward to working for you!

Planning is key!
The logistics of relocating can be crazy, in order to help keep things straight it is good to have a "Plan". Having a plan in place can assist in preventing unexpected problems from arising and to reduce the overall stress of moving. There are many items to consider in the move from departure to destination. For example, you may need to find a job for your partner, arrange local housing, schooling, medical and banking facilities, transportation and much more. Here are a few items that you may find useful.
Simply select the desired checklist(s) and enter your email address. The checklists will be sent immediately to your email inbox. A valid email address is required, however, your phone number is not. Enjoy!

If you are relocating with children, selecting the best school system for your family is most likely one of your top concerns. As you are gathering information and comparing school districts, compare these points:
|
|
language and math instruction
teacher/student ratios
test scores (TAAS, SAT) to the national & state averages
atmosphere and activities of the school
size of the classes
diversity of music, computer and arts programs
academic standards (honor programs, merit scholars)
sports programs
percentage of high school graduates & college advancement
overall philosophy and values of the school
There are many good resources for this information. Usually, the best first step is to begin evaluating broad, overall information. Once you've profiled the school districts of interest, you can contact each one and request that they send you a full, detailed package. Another good source of information is a Realtor like me. I would be happy to provide you area and school information as part of my service. Additionally, I have an advantage of being a citizen of the community and have children in the schools.
To get more information about schools, please see the individual community you are interested in for further information.
