| Located 15 miles to downtown Portland, 4 miles to Oregon City and 5 miles to Milwaukie, Clackamas is an ideal location in which to live, work, play, or visit. With only a little over 21,000 people, Clackamas is a small town within a larger area of urban living. Clackamas is home to art galleries, a winery, many different dining options, and shopping galore. Children living in Clackamas attend the North Clackamas School District.
Located in Clackamas is the Clackamas Town Center. Clackamas Town Center has every store imaginable including Nordstrom's, Macy's, and JcPenney's. Nearby is Clackamas Promenade that has Target, Old Navy, and Nordstrom Rack. Currently being renovated, Clackamas Town Center is sure to compete with other newer shopping areas. Clackamas is also home to parks, and close enough to partake in Mt. Hood and other outdoor activities. Sah-Hah-Lee, a Par 3 public golf course is also located in Clackamas. The Oregon Military Museum is also located in Clackamas and has an annual Living Day of History Celebration to honor those who have given their lives for our country.
